A: Women’s Therapy is a combination of physical therapy and rehabilitation designed to meet a woman’s specific needs.
Q: What type of treatment do you offer?
A: There are a variety of treatment options offered at Women’s Health Rehabilitation Center including:
- Physical Therapy
- Orthopedic Therapy
- Massage Therapy
- Biofeedback: A non-invasive tool used to measure muscle function.
- Trigger Point Stimulation: A form of electrical stimulation as specific points along the body used for pain management.
- Myofascial Release: A specific form of massage used for soft tissue release.
Q: Do I need a doctor’s referral to make an appointment?
A: Most primary physicians, after seeing you, will write you a referral for physical therapy when it is necessary. In some cases, if a referral is lost or expired the WHRC Staff will gladly call your primary physician to obtain the proper referral for your physical therapy treatment.
Q: What types of insurance do you accept?
A: We accept most major medical insurances including Medicare. Due to our specialized services, we are included in several local & national insurance programs. For further information, please call us at 708-633-8000.
Q: Do we treat men?
A: Yes, due to various insurance plan’s, our specialized incontinence & pelvic treatment expertise and the great general physical therapy we provide to their female relatives, men are often recommended to find their way to our facility.
